our process

Step-by-step infographic of the Jordan Vision Trips process: filling out medical form, eye examination, sending test results, online consultation, traveling to Jordan, relaxing, and undergoing laser eye surgery

Patient Requirements To determine if you’re a suitable candidate for laser vision correction, and to ensure your safety and success, we require the following steps before confirming your trip:

1. Complete the Medical Questionnaire

You will be asked to fill out a detailed form including: Full name, Age and gender, History of any previous eye surgery, Diagnosis of any eye condition such as: Glaucoma, Keratitis, Uveitis, Cataract, Amblyopia or Severe dry eye. Any chronic medical conditions (e.g., diabetes, hypertension), Any autoimmune disease, List of chronic medications (if any). This helps our medical team assess whether you’re a good candidate for surgery.

2. Perform Required Eye Tests at Your Local Optician

You must undergo the following tests before your eligibility can be assessed:

Required Tests: Basic Eye Exam, Visual acuity (with and without correction), Slit-lamp examination (anterior & posterior segments), Intraocular pressure (IOP), Cycloplegic Refraction (A refraction test after pupil dilation, to accurately measure your prescription) and Corneal Topography – Pentacam Essential to assess corneal thickness and shape

Important: If you wear contact lenses, you must stop wearing them a 1 week before this test.

3. Submit Results via Email

Once you complete your tests, please email us clear copies of: Your completed medical form, Test results and topography scans.

Our team will review them and get back to you promptly.

4. Virtual Medical Consultation

If you are deemed suitable, we will schedule a video consultation via Microsoft Teams with our Jordanian refractive surgery specialists. During this call, they will: Confirm your eligibility, Explain the procedure and recovery, Discuss risks and expectations and Answer your questions. Only after this consultation will your trip be confirmed

Very Important !!

Patients with severe dry eye, keratoconus or unstable prescriptions may not be suitable.

Final eligibility is decided by the Jordanian medical team, not our coordination team.
